Who are we?
An entrepreneur passionate about motorbikes for over thirty years has an idea and gets to work on it immediately. How to easily identify someone who has had an accident on the road, access their important medical information and confirm their identity? His meeting with an information and new technology guru sets the project into motion. Communication objects are in use in every domain and it's from this that the two men develop their project. After 18 months of prototypes, tests, programming and web development the startup Lifetag is born. The immediate information about Lifetag: Like the name suggests, Lifetag is an electronic tag, more precisely an NFC tag (Near Field Communication). This technology can now be found in our new bank cards, smartphone payment, bus cards, parking cards etc. Activated by a smartphone or NFC reader at less than 2cm; the tags which are stuck to the helmet are protected by a UID which guarantees the protection of the personal information stored. This gives the emergency services an immediate access online to that persons medical dossier: identity, photo, any medical problems, who to contact in case of emergency etc. A solid and reliable system; the tags are protected from abrasions, shock and peeling off by a 35mm polyurethane sticker. These are then stuck to either side of the helmet around the ear level. Your information is then stored on three different databases in the world, encoded and their access is secured. Lifetag is a product made in France.
